TELL MERCY EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED

You can explain your experience, driving record, location, home-time needs, preferred type of driving, and what you do—or do not—want in your next job.

The more Mercy understands about what you are looking for, the better she can narrow the search and answer your questions.

  • The home time you need
  • Regional or OTR driving
  • Preferred freight and equipment
  • Your CDL-A experience and driving history
  • Pay and mileage requirements
  • Areas or routes you prefer
  • Jobs you already know you do not want
  • Questions you want answered before moving forward

Mercy will use this information to search for the opportunities that most closely match what you told her. If she finds an opportunity that may fit, she will explain it clearly. If we do not currently have what you are looking for, she will be honest and let you know.

ONE APPLICATION. OPPORTUNITIES ACROSS 30–40 CARRIERS.

America First Logistics currently works with 30–40 carriers offering regional and OTR opportunities.

Instead of completing applications with one company after another, you can complete one application and let Mercy search the available opportunities across our carrier network.

She will compare your experience, location, qualifications, and job preferences with positions that may currently be available. If she finds a possible match, she will give you the information you need to decide whether you want to move forward.

If there is not a real option for you right now, she will tell you that too.

PRACTICAL HELP AND STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Mercy helps both experienced CDL-A drivers and recent graduates understand their options and determine which opportunities may match their qualifications and priorities.

She listens carefully, pays attention to the details, and gives drivers room to explain their situation and ask questions. Her job is to understand what the driver is actually requesting, search the opportunities available through America First Logistics, and explain what she finds clearly.

Mercy works closely with Jay, an experienced CDL-A driver with 30 years behind the wheel. Through their work helping drivers together, she has developed a strong understanding of driver qualifications, carrier requirements, and the questions that need to be answered before a driver moves forward.

When a question requires a driver's firsthand perspective, Mercy can also draw on Jay's extensive driving experience.

JUST EARNED YOUR CDL-A?

Finding a first CDL-A job can be confusing because many Class A advertisements require previous tractor-trailer experience, even when they appear to be entry-level positions.

Mercy can help recent graduates identify which available opportunities actually accept new drivers and understand what a carrier requires before they spend time applying.

She can help answer questions about:

  • Whether an opportunity accepts recent CDL graduates
  • Whether training is provided
  • Experience and qualification requirements
  • The application and hiring process
  • What information the driver needs to provide
  • Whether an advertised opportunity is one the driver can realistically pursue

You are welcome to ask questions. Mercy will explain the available information and help you understand what to expect before you decide whether to move forward.

Complete the application, tell Mercy about your CDL training, and include the best time for her to call you.

KNOW WHAT YOU WANT IN YOUR NEXT JOB?

Experienced drivers should not have to sort through unrelated jobs or repeatedly explain the same information to different companies.

Tell Mercy what you want—including the type of driving, location, home time, pay requirements, equipment preferences, and anything you already know will not work for you.

She will compare that information with the opportunities available through our network of 30–40 carriers. If she finds possible options, she will explain them so you can decide whether any are worth pursuing.

If she cannot find the opportunity you requested, she will be straightforward about that rather than trying to persuade you to accept the wrong job.
