America First Logistics is a third-party CDL-A recruiting agency working with more than 40 carriers offering regional and OTR opportunities. We begin by learning about the driver—their location, experience, work history, home-time needs, and goals—before reviewing the opportunities currently available from our carriers.
What America First Logistics Does
Finding a CDL-A position is not simply a matter of locating a company that is hiring. Every position has its own requirements, running area, home-time schedule, pay structure, and operating conditions. A job that works well for one driver may not fit another driver at all.
America First Logistics helps drivers sort through those differences. Because we recruit for more than one carrier, our recruiters can review multiple available opportunities rather than beginning with only one company or one job.
Our role is to help you understand which available opportunities appear realistic for your background and goals, explain the information we have, and help you take the next step when you decide that an option is worth pursuing.
How Our Recruiting Process Works
We learn what you need
We start with your location, CDL-A experience, driving and work history, preferred running area, home-time needs, and the type of position you want. These details determine which opportunities may actually be available to you.
We review realistic options
Our recruiters compare your information with the current requirements and hiring areas of our carriers. Availability can change, and not every carrier or position will fit every driver.
We explain the choices
If we identify a possible match, we explain the available information about the position, including the carrier, lane or running area, home time, pay structure, equipment, qualifications, and application process. You can ask questions, review the opportunity, and decide whether you want to move forward.
Honest Guidance—even when the answer is “not yet”
Not every driver has the right opportunity available today. Location, experience, driving history, work history, and other carrier requirements can affect which positions are realistic.
Sometimes our best guidance is to gain additional experience, improve a part of your record, or wait until more options become available. We would rather explain that honestly than push you toward a position that does not fit what you asked for.
A Recruiting Relationship That Can Grow With You
Drivers’ needs change. A position that works today may not work a year from now, and a driver who has limited options today may have many more after gaining additional experience.
You can return to America First Logistics whenever your circumstances or goals change. We will learn what you need at that point and review the opportunities available then.
What Drivers Can Expect
No fee to drivers
Our recruiting fee is paid by the carrier. Drivers do not pay America First Logistics for recruiting assistance.

Clear information
We explain the information available to us about requirements, pay, home time, running areas, equipment, and the application process. We also identify important details that still need to be confirmed.
